SKY66423-SX1261 Reference Design and Evaluation Kit Available Now.
Skyworks Solutions, Inc. and Semtech Corporation today introduced the SKY66423-SX1261 reference design for low-power wide-area networks (LPWAN).
The SKY66423-SX1261 integrates Semtechs LoRa ® #x & link 2122; SX1261 transceiver with Skyworks SKY66423 front-end module (FEM) for use in a range of industrial and clever city applications.
The proliferation of cordless gadgets running in the commercial, science and medical (ISM) bands adds to noise interference and creates dependability obstacles for power-sensitive and long-range applications. By increasing the send output power and lowering the receivers system noise figure, the SKY66423-SX1261 addresses these obstacles and supplies a reliable solution for commercial IoT deployments utilizing LoRaWAN ®.
The LoRaWAN spec is a Low Power, Wide Area (LPWA) networking procedure developed to wirelessly connect battery ran things to the internet in local, nationwide or worldwide networks, and targets essential Internet of Things (IoT) requirements such as bi-directional communication, end-to-end security, movement and localization services. LoRa Connect sub-GHz radio transceivers are perfect for long variety cordless applications and are extremely configurable to fulfill various applications requirements making use of the international LoRaWAN standard. The SKY66423-SX1261 meets the prolonged range and power efficiency requirements of security, automation, commercial, clever city and connected home applications.
” Our long-standing collaboration with Skyworks enabled us to establish a tested recommendation style that is compliant with the LoRaWAN requirements to satisfy the requirements of clever house and wise city applications like automation, tracking and security,” stated Marc Pégulu, vice president and general manager for Semtechs Wireless and Sensing Products Group.
” The SKY66423-SX1261 easily resolves the challenges of variety protection and power performance for commercial Internet of Things (IoT) and clever city applications through harnessing Semtechs LoRa gadgets for its robust, long variety capabilities.”
” This most current design distinctively leverages our collective innovations in assistance of next-generation LPWAN releases,” said Stefan Fulga, senior director of marketing for IoT and Emerging Markets at Skyworks. “Our strategic cooperation continues to produce ingenious options that sustain our portfolio growth throughout industrial IoT, smart city and wise home applications.”
