Tesla Inc. is recalling more than 285,000 passenger lorries in China– consisting of more than 90% of in your area made automobiles offered by the company– since of security dangers connected with their cruise-control system, the countrys market regulator stated.
The recall of the U.S. businesss autos followed an investigation into possible flaws, which found that their cruise-control system might be inadvertently activated and possibly result in an unforeseen speed increase, the State Administration for Market Regulation stated Saturday.
The recall includes 249,855 Model 3 sedans and Model Y compact crossover vehicles produced by Teslas Shanghai plant, as well as 35,665 imported Model 3 vehicles, the regulator said.
Affected Tesla consumers can upgrade their cruise-control software remotely without having to go to the store, according to the market and the business regulator.
The regulator stated it received a demand from Tesla a few days previously for the recall, which impacts lorries produced in between December 2019 and June 2021.
