“We wish to keep the product as fresh as possible, and as closely comparable to returned (space) mission samples as possible. We currently know that Winchcombe is full of natural product, and we want to make sure that this does not become infected by the substantial amount of organics crawling all around the surface of Earth,” she informed BBC News.
