A key feature of the collaboration is the ability for pharmacists and doctors to work together to handle clients care. For example, for a person who is juggling numerous prescriptions, they might get more support in managing those medications and having the ability to fill them at once.

Chicago-based VillageMD was founded in 2013. The business currently runs more than 200 clinics throughout 13 markets, mainly through partnerships.
In the meantime, other merchants are constructing out their primary care plans. CVS Health is continuing its plans to remodel more than 1,000 of its shops as “HealthHUBs,” with more area devoted for health services– though those plans have been slowed by the pandemic.
Meanwhile, Amazon is pitching other business on a telehealth service it piloted with its staff members, and Walmart just recently obtained telehealth company MeMD after opening a smaller sized variety of in-person clinics.
