A widely known rap artist has actually been apprehended in connection with a shooting at a Miami-Dade County strip club.

Rap Artist Pooh Shiesty, whose genuine name is Lontrell Williams, was booked into the Miami-Dade jail Tuesday on an aggravated battery charge, records showed.

Williams was detained back in October in connection with a different shooting in Bay Harbor Islands that left 2 males hospitalized.

Williams is accused of shooting a security personnel in the leg at King of Diamonds strip club during Memorial Day weekend, according to an arrest warrant acquired by the Miami Herald.
