SAN FRANCISCO– The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco commemorated National Womens Month in the Philippines and Womens History Month in the United States with an online roundtable conversation that featured some of the guiding Filipino American females health leaders in the U.S. Pacific Northwest.
Entitled “Women in Health: Leading Our Communities Out of the Pandemic and On the Road to Equity,” the Consulates online occasion highlighted the function of Filipina and Filipina American health leaders in the U.S. Pacific Northwest in turning the tide of the COVID-19 pandemic, and in producing a more equitable neighborhood in terms of access to healthcare.

Aileen Cassinetto, Poet Laureate of San Mateo County, gave a touching tribute to the medical front liners of the COVID-19 pandemic through neighborhood poetry.
