Governor Abubakar Sani Bello has inaugurated a femaless health center in Kontagora as part of his efforts to contribute to the advancement of the health sector in Niger State, specifically for women.
The modern-day and fully equipped structure was constructed by Dr. Amina Abubakar Bello, the spouse of Niger State Governor, through her Raise Foundation, with the help of Mainstream Foundation as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility program (CSR).
The center, which will offer health care to women experiencing Vesico Vegina Fistula (VVF), a disease that causes uncontrolled urine passage in women due to prolonged labor without access to skilled health care, will likewise supply patients with the opportunity to discover abilities prior to being reintegrated back into their neighborhoods.
