PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint/ Pakistan Point News – 5th Dec, 2021 ): Chairperson KP Women Parliamentary Caucus (WPC), MPA Dr Sumaira Shams on Sunday stated that the Caucus attained great success by authorizing 15 legislations from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly in present year on several problems faced by the local ladies. She expressed these views during the 3rd General Body meeting of the Caucus that was collectively organized by UNFPA and a national NGO Shirkat Gha. The meeting besides other was gone to by MPA Madiha Nisar, Ayesha Bano, Rabia Basri, Somi Falak Niaz, Zeenat Bibi, Shahida Waheed, Shagufta Malik, Sajida Hanif, Aneeta Masood, Ayesha Naeem, Rehana Ismail, Naeema Kiswar, Aasia Khattak, Dr Aasia Asad and Samia Bibi. She stated that introduction of centralized call system entitled “Bolo Helpline” was another huge turning point of the Caucus through which women could lodge their spoken problems. She exposed that the grievances would be further forwarded to department concerned for its early resolve. The individuals of the conference went over a number of issues which includes usage of injections for beauty boost, making intermediary with law, house and authorities department on the issue of females smuggling, registration of Nikkah at tehsil and union council levels, non-availability of women paramedic staff in the health centers, Hindu marital relationships and plan of character building training for ladies. The participants suggested making legislation on these concerns which would help overcome domestic concern on women living in our society.
