Male supposedly attempts to overtake airplane out of Los Angeles; FBI examining LOS ANGELES – Crew members on a Delta flight out of Los Angeles on Friday are credited for conserving the aircraft from a guy who apparently attempted to breach the cockpit and the FBI is now investigating. Delta flight 386 flew out of Los Angeles International Airport at 11:30 a.m. headed to Nashville. Guy apprehended after trying to breach cockpit The suspect was zip-tied and guests aboard the aircraft credited members of the team for saving the aircraft. The flight needed to be diverted to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where it made an emergency landing around 2:20 p.m.. After an effective landing, the traveler was arrested by airport cops and turned over to the FBI, a representative from Albuquerque International Sunport Airport informed FOX 11. The FBIs Alburquerque department confirmed that they were responding to the report of the diverted flight, adding that there was no threat to the general public. Delta airline companies launched the following statement: “Thanks to the team and passengers of Delta Flight 386, LAX to Nashville (BNA), who assisted in apprehending an unruly passenger as the flight diverted to Albuquerque (ABQ). The airplane landed without incident and the guest was gotten rid of by law enforcement.
