Nevertheless, LG is indicating a provision in the arrangement that says that it can be renegotiated in case of major modification. And things did indeed alter majorly when LG left the mobile company. The association that started the contract is also questioning LGs relocation, but a main agreed that a renegotiation ought to follow offered the circumstances.

Samsung fears that iPhones appearing at the 400+ LG look around Korea will threaten the market share of its 5G smartphones. Apple is the largest vendor of 5G phones internationally, Samsung is 4th (though growing the fastest). LGs strategies to offer iPhones at LG Best Store places in South Korea is facing opposition. Samsung is upset by this and claims such a move would violate an arrangement signed by the 2 business in 2018, which states that just LG-made phones can be cost LG-run stores and similarly just Samsung phones can be cost Samsung stores (this arrangement was suggested to secure mid-sized and little stores from the 2 giants).
