The very first time we heard something about a Lite version of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 was last year. Weve heard little about it because and some even suggested the Lite mode might have been axed due to the worldwide chip scarcity. Yet now The Korea Herald triggers those reports when again claiming that Samsung is readying a Lite design for the upcoming Unpacked occasion.

On the other hand, the intel about the discontinuation of the Z Flip3 Lite may be partly true and we have not seen any specs or renders as its still far from being released. This in turn recommends that the Lite might merely come later on in the year rather than being cancelled entirely.

Its clear by now that Samsung will be revealing the Galaxy Z Flip3 and Z Fold3 with the former even getting a solid cost cut according to many reports. Introducing a totally new, more affordable variation of the design is something else. We remain somewhat vigilant of the provided information since we havent heard nearly anything about the Lite instead of the very comprehensive leaks for the Z Flip3 and Z Fold3.
