The Galaxy Fold3 is said to cost between KRW 1,900,000 and KRW 1,999,000 ($ 1,655– $1,741) while the Z Flip3 will retail in between KRW 1,200,000 and KRW 1,280,000 ($ 1,045– $1,110).

The most recent prices information originates from a post on South Korean online forum Naver Blog and substantiates earlier rumors of a 20% price cut compared to the previous generation of Samsung foldables. For reference, the Z Fold2s launch cost in South Korea in 2015 was KRW 2,398,000 ($ 2,088) while the Z Flip began at KRW 1,650,000 ($ 1,435).

Another fascinating bit from the brand-new report is that Samsung will actively press customers to trade-in their old devices and upgrade to the brand-new foldables. The report also mentions that Samsung sees this years folding duo as mass popularizers for the folding form elements.
