Earlier today on Chicagos 670 The Score, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell hired to help support their “What About Chicago Radiothon,” which supports Austin Harvest, a food mart in Chicagos Austin area that was just recently converted from a liquor store.
He spoke to Score hosts Danny Parkins and Laurence Holmes, and previous Chicago Bears linebacker Sam Acho, about the work that Acho has been making with Austin Harvest.
You might recall the story from last July when Acho and numerous other Chicago professional athletes purchased an alcohol shop, tore it down, then developed a pop-up supermarket in its location. Now theyre raising money to make certain Austin Harvest has a long-term house in the area that has been lacking a proper supermarket for Austins homeowners.
Its an excellent cause for sure, but throughout the interview Parkins asked Goodell about the Bears objectives with their recent bid on the Arlington Park residential or commercial property.

The Bears bid to purchase the Arlington Heights home made waves recently, but this week things have been lining up that makes it feel as though the Bears leaving Soldier Field might actually take place.
The other day the Bears revealed a partnership with Bet Rivers Casino, who so takes place to be jointly owned by Churchill Downs, who also owns the Arlington International Racecourse home that they bid on.
Likewise on Monday, the Arlington Heights village board voted to authorize the residential or commercial property to be zoned for a football stadium, to name a few things, but football arena is obviously the crucial item if they accept the Bears quote on the place.
If the McCaskey household is truly wanting to sell, which was reported in May, then a sparkly new stadium would definitely increase up the sale price.
