Political commentator Nick Adams, president of Flag Usa, said in a tweet: “Looks like the American flag didnt upset Gwen Berry a few years ago …”.

She responded to the reaction by writing on Twitter: “At this point, y all are consumed with me.”

And she doubled down later on by insisting the anthem is “disrespectful” to black Americans.

Berry earlier today also reiterated earlier remarks she made on Twitter in action to the backlash, insisting she does not hate her country.

Conservative author Brigitte Gabriel said the image “look like her entire Activist Athlete bit is an act.”.

” All I said was I respect my individuals enough to not acknowledge or stand something that disrespects them,” she stated.

” If you understand your history, you understand the full song of the national anthem. The third paragraph speaks with servants in America– our blood being killed … all over the floor,” Berry stated on Black News Channel.
